The City of Ocala held its general elections on Sept. 19, 2017. As WUFT's Political Anchor, Grace led a multi-platform coverage effort. Here's some of her work:

Grace anchored her weekly political segment live from an Ocala voting precinct on election day.

She interviewed the two mayoral candidates, Kent Guinn and Catherine Zimmer, and the two city councilman candidates, Jim Hilty and Justin Grabelle.

Ocala Election Results (Sept. 20)

Ocala Mayor Kent Guinn won a fourth term in Ocala’s city elections on Tuesday with 58.36 percent of the race’s 4,806 votes.

Meanwhile, Justin Grabelle beat out District 5 incumbent James Hilty, with 59.28 percent of the race’s 4,710 votes.
